Postdoc Position – Mass Spectrometry

The research

Our research focuses on structural and functional studies of macromolecular protein complexes by single particle electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM), electron cryotomography (cryo-ET), X-ray crystallography, biochemical and biophysical methods. As part of a project that is funded by an ERC consolidator grant, the successful candidate will employ Hydrogen/Deuterium Exchange-Mass Spectrometry (HDX MS) to study the dynamics and unfolding mechanism of proteins in combination with cryo-EM.

Your profile

The successful candidate holds an excellent PhD in physics, biophysics, biochemistry or a related discipline and has sufficient specialist knowledge in mass spectrometry of proteins and peptides. Strong written and oral communication skills in English and strong computational skills are required.
