Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen based out of our Brussels office for a passionate, talent/HR professional within a Group company in the marketing communications/branding field.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
•Managing the overall co-ordination of the implementation and delivery of core Talent/HR strategies and plans across the region as determined by the Group Talent Director Europe (GTD);
•Working in close collaboration with the GTD and key stakeholders including the wider HR team, you will support our businesses to help drive and implement talent plans and objectives aligned to our businesses.

Role
Key aspects of the role includes the co-ordination of the annual talent reviews including:
• Succession planning, induction, the annual performance management process;
•Implementing best practice talent approaches, high level recruitment assistance, remuneration guidance, monthly management reports and other ad hoc projects as required by the GTD.

The role requires a professionally qualified generalist with substantial experience and a track record for success. You must be able to work at both a strategic and operational level in a multi-brand, fast paced marketing communications/branding group. You must also possess a good understanding of European employment law and be able to interpret and produce solutions to employment matters. You will provide some Talent/HR direction, counsel and guidance to managers and leaders, implement best practice procedures, ensure operational delivery and effective employee engagement. In addition you will help to lead the coordination and implementation of group policies, programmes and initiatives. You must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, be a problem solver, possess great communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team. You must speak and write fluently in English and French.
